Draft. Review with a solicitor before launch.
This is generic boilerplate for a UK coaching business, not legal advice, and it does not assert regulatory compliance. It must be checked by a qualified solicitor before going live.
Cancellation and refunds
Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA
This policy explains how to cancel, your statutory rights under UK distance-selling and consumer law, and how refunds work.
01Your right to cancel
Because coaching is bought at a distance, UK consumer law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you subscribe, during which you can cancel for any reason.
If you ask us to start your coaching within that period and we do, you may be charged a fair amount for the service already provided up to the point you cancel.
02Cancelling a monthly plan
Monthly plans are rolling. You can cancel at any time and you will keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months unless the law requires it.
To cancel, use the cancellation option in your account or email us. We will confirm your cancellation in writing.
03Cancelling annual prepay
Annual prepay covers twelve months paid up front. If you cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period and coaching has not yet started, you are entitled to a full refund.
If coaching has started, or you cancel after the cooling-off period, any refund is calculated fairly for the unused portion, less the value of coaching already delivered. Contact us and we will set out the figure clearly before processing.
04Refunds
Where a refund is due, we process it to your original payment method within 14 days of agreeing the amount. Payment-provider timings may add a short delay on top.
Digital coaching materials already delivered to you are generally non-refundable once supplied with your agreement, as allowed under UK consumer law.
05If something goes wrong
If the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction under UK consumer law. Tell us as soon as possible and we will put it right.
